Former Hyperion Solutions executive, Powers, will drive Allegient’s technology strategy in support of company’s continued growth

WILTON, Conn.--Allegient Systems, a leading software and service provider which continues to set the standard in legal expense and performance management, today announced that Robert (Bob) Powers has joined the organization as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

A proven executive with over two decades of experience, Mr. Powers brings a breadth of experience and an impressive track record of success in software development and in leading organizations to build and deploy solutions for business performance management, data integration and finance. He is a recognized expert in architecting and developing products using a variety of technologies.

Powers is a software development executive with proven expertise in designing highly scalable transactional and analytical solutions. Prior to joining Allegient, Powers was most recently Vice President of Software Development at Hyperion Solutions where he was responsible for the development and launch of the Hyperion Strategic Finance and Financial Data Quality Management product lines. During his 12 years with Hyperion, Powers was a key leader responsible for several commercially released software solutions and was the architect of the Hyperion Financial Management system.
