Respected former CA development executive to drive development of business-oriented information management solutions

Burlington, Mass. - Kalido, a provider of strategic information management solutions, has named Nigel Turner as its vice president of product development. Turner will be responsible for product management, engineering and customer support across the entire Kalido product line. A respected industry veteran, Turner brings more than 20 years software and product development experience to the Kalido senior management team. Turner will be based at Kalido headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts.

During Turner's 12-year CA career, he held a variety of managerial positions in the companys research and development and marketing departments. As senior vice president of development he was responsible for driving the automation of the product build, verification and integration process for all of CA's products. In addition, he was part of the leadership team that created the Unicenter enterprise management business and managed the field technical organization across CA's most profitable and fastest growing product line. Previously, Turner spent 14 years in product development at Digital Equipment Corporation with responsibility for kernel development for the VMS operating system.
